Omega 8006 Juicer

One afternoon, my friend told me about the evils that are actually in trusted brand name juices.  Me being the good friend that I am, I politely listened while concentrating on not rolling my eyes.  He said that it’s not just juice in my favorite bottles of goodness, it’s full of other things, things that do more harm than good.  When I went home I read the label on my Campbell’s V-8.  Surely, I can prove him crazy with this one.  It says right on the front, 100% vegetable juice.  It starts out with listing this vegetable and that one then towards the bottom it says, natural flavors, disodium guanylate and disodium inosinate.  WTF?  Because Bing.com can bring you answers as fast as you can type the question, I found what I was looking for.  Oh, how I love the power of the internet.  Without this being a longer story than it already is, those ingredients fall under the umbrella of a fancy way of labeling MSG.  MSG is this white powder that’s used as a flavor enhancer.  I think of it as legal coccaine.  It tells your brain that you really like what your eating and it makes your little brain endings go crazy.  My brain endings go crazy enough, thank you, I don’t need an enhancer.  I’m not a doctor and you may be thinking, I’m talking crazy talk, fair enough.  But do your research about this substance, you’ll be quite surprised.  Click here and here to get more crazy talk info.

After V-8 crushed my thinking drinking a glass a day would keep the doctor away, I bought a juicer.  Why can’t I juice my own creations of deliciousness?!  I can, and I do.  You can find a really good quality juicer for around $200.  I opted for the Omega 8006.  It’s the newer one of the line of juicers Omega offers.  Plus, it said it was a breeze to clean, and I liked that part.  I purchased the juicer online which can be scary but other people I talked to did the same.  If you’re one of those people who wouldn’t jump off a bridge with your friends then rest assured this baby comes with a 15 year guarantee.  There are several retailers that have the Omega in stock.  You can try Amazon.com, Discountjuicers.com, Bestjuicer.com or others.  At first I was intimidated, I wasn’t sure what to expect.  But I absolutely LOVE this juicing machine.  It gets a workout at least 4 times a week.  Usually, fruit and vegetable juices only, but recently I’ve branched out to make almond butter and almond milk.  The almond butter, holy cow, was that good.  The Omega 8006 is really simple to use, clean and put away.  And while you’re using it the noise doesn’t make your ears shrivel up and fall off.  Nice, huh?  For more specific info on this bad boy click here.
