Chicken Marsala always surprises me with how tasty it is. I know I like this particular dish, but still, every time I cook this and take my first bite I wonder why I don’t make this more often. So, here you go!
1 Pound Chicken
6 Tbsp all purpose flour
1 Tsp Himalayan Crystal Salt

I’ve tried another Bonterra Wine before but it was a Chardonnay white. And I liked it, so I thought I would give their Cab Sav a go. Usually I love, love, love Cab Savs. Like, a lot. But this one, in MY opinion, was a little sub par. Most Cab Savs are such full bodied wines with fruity flavor and with this one, I thought, not so much. It was simply okay. There are some brands of wine that I buy without reading what kind it is. This certainly goes for Orleans Hill wine. It’s organic and with no added sulfites. Sounds good enough to me. Plus, I know I enjoy some varieties already. I hadn’t tried the Zinfandel kind yet and I was looking forward to it. And it doesn’t hurt that this particular brand of wines easily runs you less than $15 and sometimes if there’s a sale at your grocery store less than $10. Nice, right?

Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce the wine winner of the “Wine of the Week” from the Santa Rosa Press Democrat. This award was based upon a blind taste test of 10 other organic red wines. What also makes this an awesome feat is that this particular wine is the cheapest out of all 10. Cheap as in less than 10 bucks. Malbec wines make my mouth water. The first time I tried a Malbec I thought it was a blend of wines. I didn’t really know anything about them. I just knew it tasted so smooth and rich in flavor without the bitter dryness. Malbec wine is kind of a hybrid of a Cab Sav and a Merlot. The blend of grapes gives it that plum-y flavor. I haven’t found too many Malbec organic wines so when I stumbled upon Ventura Malbec 2007 in the organic section I jumped up and down with joy was excited.

Normally, I’m a red girl but I won’t say no to whites. I like whites, I do but sometimes they make a little rumbly in my tumbly. They’re too sweet and it kinda turns my stomach. Anyway, I was in the mood for chilled wine on a hot summer day so I grabbed a bottle of Bonterra Chardonnay. It’s organic, that means it is made with organically grown grapes. When I lived in Chicago I would drink Orleans Hill wine sometimes. It was organic and contained no added sulfites. Less sulfites makes for less headaches and less fire knees. WTF are fire knees, you ask? Well, some of the side effects of sulfite-filled wines are: headaches, cramps, flushed face and/or body and in some cases even hives.
