Don’t let the title fool you, this smoothie tastes AWESOME. And it has a power punch of good fats, plenty of vitamins and minerals, and it gives you energy lasting throughout the day. I particularly love drinking this smoothie after a long jog with my mutt, but my girlfriend likes to drink it for breakfast.

1 Banana
1 Cup Organic Milk  (I use raw milk– so creamy!)
Handful of Organic Spinach
Handful of ice
Teaspoon of Organic Peanut Butter

Vegan Chocolate Chip and Agave Cookies

This vegan cookie recipe is very close to another vegan cookie recipe, BUT for several ingredients which make these vegan delights softer!

2 Cups Flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder
Pinch o’ Salt — I use Himalayan Crystal Salt
2 Tsp Cinnamon
1/2 Cup Coconut Oil
3/4 Cup H2O
1/2 Cup Shredded Coconut
1 Cup Chocolate Chips — make sure it’s dark chocolate to remain vegan
1/2 Cup Cacao Nibs (optional, I like ‘em for that added crunch)
1 TBS Flax Meal
1 TBS Agave Syrup
1 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar

Talk about a power punch of nutrients! In this smoothie you’ve got Vitamin A, B, C and E, loads of Potassium, Magnesium, Iron, Folic Acid, Antioxidants and Omega-3. Nice, right? But doe sit taste good? Hells yeah. And it’s super easy to whip up.

1 Cup Forzen Blueberries
1 Orange
1 Banana
2 Handfuls of Organic Kale
2 TBS of Chia Seeds
Keep it this way for a vegan smoothie delight or add a few spoonfuls of plain yogurt to add some smoothness. Truthfully, this smoothie will taste great either way. So it’s up to you.

1 Cup Frozen Blackberries
1 Cup frozen Blueberries
1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice / Pineapple Juice
1/2 Cup Vanilla Yogurt
3 TBS Chia Seeds
2 Handfuls of Kale

I let the Chia Seeds soak in the orange juice for about 10 minutes, then I toss everything into the blender.

This makes 2 smoothies. Or one for now an done for later.

This smoothie is VERY similar to the previous smoothie recipe I put up. The only difference is, really, the added kale. What an awesome pick-me-up! Thanks to the Chia seeds this smoothie gives me lasting and sustainable energy throughout the day.

1 Cup Blueberries
1 Cup Blackberries
3 TBS Chia Seeds
1 Banana
3/4 Cup fresh squeezed orange/pineapple juice

Toss into your blender and enjoy. This makes 2 smoothies. Or one now and one for tomorrow 🙂 And this recipe is vegan and gluten-free. Obvs.
