This smoothie is a just delicious. Berries are oh, so good for you and nothing beats a fruit smoothie on a warm day. This smoothie packs a punch of health nuggets such as: Vitamin A, Vitamin B1 and B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Vitamin E. Minerals include Manganese, Potassium, Copper and more. This smoothie tastes great and I put in some raw egg for added protein. You, of course, can leave that out, it’s just something I like to do. Also, I only use organic farm raised eggs. I’m lucky enough to have an egg lady that I can get fresh ones from but you can also find organic farm raised brands in the supermarket. I know Milos Organic Eggs are a good one to use.

My new blender has been ordered, so it’s just a few more days until I don’t have to make my smoothie’s the poor man’s way! Hooray! But until then… here’s another yummy and easy to make smoothie. For the fruit, I just used my Omega 8006 juicer to make it liquid and then I added it to my vanilla yogurt and stirred vigorously. It was THAT easy. Or, if you don’t have any fruit, simply use orange juice and pineapple juice and viola, you’re as good as gold — although it’s more healthy to use real fruit

A smoothie was in order; I needed a little pick me up. But, woe is me, my blender is broken. So I decided to improvise. I used my Omega 8006 Juicer. I juiced all my fruits and then stirred in, vigorously I might add, the vanilla yogurt until it was nice a creamy. It tasted awesomely tart and was perfect for my much needed afternoon snack. Keep in mind that since I used my juicer, NONE of the fruits were frozen. Frozen stuff doesn’t juice correctly!

The most time consuming part of this recipe is slicing the chicken, but it goes pretty quick if you use a sharp knife.
