Zevia Black Cherry All Natural Soda

Who wants a no sugar, caffeine-free soda that still tastes great? Only in your dreams, right? Wrong! There’s this hot little natural soda floatin’ around called Zevia. It’s sweetened with the Stevia Extract and not real sugar. WTF is stevia? Well, Stevia is a South American herb that has been used as a sweetener by the Guarani Indians of Paraguay for hundreds of years. Give or take a year or two. Supposedly, the leaves of this small, green Stevia rebaudiana plant can be up to 30 times sweeter than sugar. Because this soda is blessed with stevia and not … Read the rest

Santa Julia Organica Malbec 2009

I like the simple things in life.  You know, rain drops on roses, whiskers on kittens and cheap organic red wine.  This is where Santa Julia wine comes into play. This organic Malbec is produced by Familia Zuccardi.  They own and run a vineyard and winery in Mendoza, Argentina.  This winery found it’s beginning  in 1963 by Alberto V. Blue Sky Black Cherry Natural Soda

I’m movin’ on down the Blue Sky trail and trying out all the flavors.  This one was Black Cherry.  And it was delicious.  The thing that I like about this particular brand of soda (besides it being so cheap) is that is has NO artificial flavors.  NO artificial colors.  NO preservatives, caffeine, sodium, GMO, or high fructose corn syrup.  No too shabby, huh?

The ingredients in this can of goodness are: Filtered Carbonated H2O, Real Sugar, Natural Black Cherry Flavor and Citric Acid.  And the taste is really really good.  The cherry flavor isn’t too strong tart or sweet.  And … Read the rest
