I like spinach. Like, a lot. However, I only like to eat spinach, not drink it. So I decided to pair it with some sweet apples to help me forget I was drinking green nast. Why would I try and drink my spinach, you ask? For the most part, it was on it’s way to becoming mush in my fridge, plus I was curious as to how bad it would taste. Also, spinach has something called nutrients and vitamins in it too. For example, spinach contains: Vitamins B, C, E and K. As well as magnsium and iron. Maybe I … Read the rest

For those of you who are not familiar with Mr. Samuel Smith’s organic beers, allow me to introduce you. Samuel Smith’s is a small independent British brewery. It was established in 1758 and it’s also Yorkshire’s oldest brewery. Cool, huh? Samuel Smith Brewery offers a variety of ales, stouts, fruit flavored, porters, pale ales, ciders and more. What attracted me to this beer was the fact that it’s organic. That, and it comes in a big pretty bottle. But seriously, I like the fact that this beer is grown without the use of artificial fertilizers or chemical sprays. Oh … Read the rest

Moving on down the Zevia line we tried the Lemon Lime Twist one. Back in the day I used to be a Sprite fan and since I don’t like drinking sodas full of funky junk I never get a change to drink my lemon lime soda. I’m not saying the organic soda, natural sodas or stevia infused sodas are totally healthy buuuut, I do believe that they are a much, MUCH better alternative.
Check out the ingredients in Sprite: carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, citric acid, natural flavors, sodium citrate and sodium benzoate. But when you have other, … Read the rest

I tried this new organic Cabernet Sauvignon and it was excellent. So, I looked upon the bottle to see what vineyard it was from. This Natura Cab Sav is born and raised in the Emiliana vineyard and made with organic grapes. What I also found was another bottle of wine in my arsenal with a different name but born and raised in the same Emiliana vineyard family. Which leads me to believe that Emiliana makes more than a few different wines. Upon further research, Emiliana has Biodynamic Wines, Organic Wines and Integrated Management Wines. Their Natura brand falls under the … Read the rest
