Orleans Hill Cote Zero Organic Red California Wine

Ahhh, time once again to talk about Orleans Hill wine.  I like this brand of wine and pretty much celebrate their whole catalog.  To see other Orleans Hill wines that I have more than enjoyed click here and here.

I’ll keep this post short and sweet:  Orleans Hill wine is good.  No sulfites detected and it’s organic.  Not bad for a California Red.  The color is a rich purple and the flavor is somewhat complex.  It’s earthy and berry all while being very light and dry.  Orleans Hill Cote Zero is a Rhône-styled blend of Syrah (gives the berryness), Grenache (the slightly pepperness) and Viognier (the I’m not sure whatness).  This wine makes for a good table red, it can blend well with any dish.

I bought this for under $11 at my local grocery store.  If you can’t find it there, you can always order it online at Binnys.   I love that store, they seriously have everything there.  Or you can also just Bing it online and a few other online wine retailers will pop up too.
