Blackberry Blueberry Chia Seed and Yogurt Smoothie

1 Cup Frozen Blackberries
1 Cup frozen Blueberries
1/2 Cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice / Pineapple Juice
1/2 Cup Vanilla Yogurt
3 TBS Chia Seeds
2 Handfuls of Kale

I let the Chia Seeds soak in the orange juice for about 10 minutes, then I toss everything into the blender.

This makes 2 smoothies. Or one for now an done for later.

This smoothie is VERY similar to the previous smoothie recipe I put up. The only difference is, really, the added kale. It may sound gross but it’s tastes so good, and you don’t really even taste the kale! Honestly. What an awesome pick-me-up! Thanks to the Chia seeds this smoothie gives me lasting and sustainable energy throughout the day.

1 Cup Blueberries
1 Cup Blackberries
3 TBS Chia Seeds
1 Banana
3/4 Cup fresh squeezed orange/pineapple juice

Toss into your blender and enjoy. This makes 2 smoothies. Or one now and one for tomorrow 🙂 And this recipe is vegan and gluten-free. Obvs.

Cherry Blueberry and Chia Seed Smoothie

1/2 Cup Frozen Cherries
1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
3 TSP of Chia Seeds
6 Ice Cubes
1/3 Cup Vanilla Brown Cow Yogurt
1/3 Cup H2O

Soak the Chia Seeds in the H20 for about 10 minutes, then add everything to your blender and hit “play.” This makes 2 servings.

Breakfast Boost with Maca Powder

2 Cups Raw Milk
2 Tbsp Maca Powder
2 Tsp Agave Syrup
1/3 Cup Organic Shredded Coconut
2 Tsp Organic Cocoa Powder

Toss into blender and use the stir/low setting. No need to use the high button or to purify. This will make 2 servings. Tell your friends, “You’re welcome.”

Vegan Orange Banana Smoothie

This is the perfect pick me up with good fats, vitamins and minerals. Instead of putting yogurt or milk in, like I do with most of my smoothies, I only added water, but also Coconut Oil. I wanted a little something extra with good fats while adding a little sweetness.

2 Bananas
1 Orange
1 Tablespoon of Coconut Oil
1/2 Cup H2O
4 Ice cubes

Toss all this into your blender and in, oh, about 30 seconds you will have some heavenly bliss. Yummm.

Tomato Carrot Celery Spinach Kale and Pepper Juice

So refreshing and so healthy! This juice is an excellent source of vitamins and minerals to jump start your day or as a pick-me-up afternoon snack.

2 Tomatoes
4 Carrots
3 Celery Stalks
1 Yellow Pepper – any color will do, I just happen to have yellow
Handful of Spinach
2 Handfuls of Kale

Toss this all into your juicer and you’re good to go. This makes 2 juices, so you can share. Or not…

As for what type of juicer I use: I use the Omega 8006 and it’s a bad ass. Seriously.
