Raw Revolution Organic Live Food Bar Cashew & Agave Nectar

Raw Revolution Bars are tasty. More than tasty. They fill up my belly a little and quench my need for sugar. I heart sugar, and I will totally swear to you that my body actually needs it. But that doesn’t mean I want to stuff my face full of Little Debbies. I used to, though, before I began reading about the food I was putting into my mouth. I used to loooove the Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pie snacks. Let’s just do a little comparison of the ingredients for that and then the Raw Revolution Cashew & Agave Nectar Bar, … Read the rest

Bulgar contains numerous vitamins and minerals which will give you a jump start for the day. What’s actually so good about it, you ask? Well, how ’bout some folate, niacin, phosphorus, copper, zinc, magnesium and manganese. … Read the rest

Raw Revolution Organic Live Food Bar

I ran in the Door County Half Marathon a few weeks ago and the morning of the race I picked up my bag o’ goodies supplied by the race sponsors. Usually you just get an XXL t-shirt that is completely unwearable, unless I wear it as a dress, and my racing number and forms. But at the bottom of my bag was this Raw Revolution Bar. From the title, you can gather that it’s uncooked. What is it exactly? Well, it’s a combination of things: It’s organic, it’s raw, it’s vegan, it’s soy free, no refined sugars, it’s kosher … Read the rest
