Blackberry Blueberry Orange Pineapple Smoothie
This smoothie is a just delicious. Berries are oh, so good for you and nothing beats a fruit smoothie on a warm day. This smoothie packs a punch of health nuggets such as: Vitamin A, Vitamin B1 and B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Vitamin E. Minerals include Manganese, Potassium, Copper and more. And don’t forget antioxidants. This smoothie brings you plenty of those.
Berries are on the expensive side and I would love to say that I only buy the fresh and organic kind. But I can’t afford the organic ones.
Ouch. Or the fresh ones.
Double ouch.
Especially in the wintertime I buy mine frozen. They taste good, but still… they’re not chemical free, pesticide free or any of that
Now that I’ve totally turned you off of berries, try my smoothie! It’s awesome.
1 Cup of Blackberries
3/4 Cup of Blueberries
1 Orange
1 Cup Pineapple
1 Cup Yogurt – I like the Vanilla kind
Pop all this in your blender and blend away. This makes 2 huge smoothies, so you can share with a friend of save one for the next day.
To my vegan friends — instead of the yogurt, put in ice cubes
